Farmers Market Creation & Community Curation in South Florida

Hi, I’m Jess Del Vecchio, founder of the Boca Farmers Market. I’ve lived in Boca Raton since 1991, and building community through local food, small businesses, and meaningful weekly gatherings has been at the heart of everything we do.

We create, launch, and curate farmers markets across Broward County and Palm Beach County, with a focus on thoughtful vendor selection, smooth operations, and creating an environment where people actually want to stay, connect, and come back week after week.

The Boca Farmers Market is our flagship market — a weekly, year-round market with nearly 100 vendors. We built it with a for locals, by locals mindset, prioritizing high-quality local vendors, a strong customer experience, and a welcoming atmosphere for families, pets, and neighbors who want to support local.

We also launched and operate the Deerfield Beach Farmers Market, a weekly seasonal market featuring 60 local vendors, created with the same community-first approach. Both markets focus on supporting small businesses while offering accessible, neighborhood-centered spaces where people can gather consistently.

Beyond shopping, we believe farmers markets should feel like true community hubs. That’s why we regularly incorporate free wellness programming such as community yoga, sound bath classes, HIIT workouts, and other rotating offerings that make the markets more than just places to buy groceries -  they become part of people’s routine and something they genuinely look forward to each week.

We’ve also expanded our work beyond large public markets. We curate mini markets and lunch markets for private and semi-private communities and organizations, including country clubs, office campuses, colleges, and hospital teams. These markets are tailored to their audience and designed to be easy to access, enjoyable, and valuable as recurring amenities. One example is our bi-weekly mini market at Boca West Country Club, created as a seasonal resident benefit.

Every market we build is intentionally curated - from vendor mix and site layout to programming and community engagement - because no two communities are the same. Our goal is always the same: support local businesses, strengthen the surrounding community, and create markets that are sustainable, well-run, and rooted in place.

If you’re interested in bringing a farmers market or lunch market to your property, town, campus, or organization in Broward or Palm Beach County, we’d love to connect and explore what would work best for your community.
